I installed Creator 2010 Pro about a month ago, but have just started having this problem burning CDs or DVDs on my Windows 7 machine. When I try to burn a CD, I get a message that says "One or more of your recording devices are in use. Please wait until the devices are not in use and try again."

I have only one recording device on this computer, and it is not in use. I have rebooted several times hoping to clear the error, but it persists. What can I do to fix this? Thanks

I am having the same issue, have you been able to find a resolution?

The OP hasn't been back since April, but try going to control panel, device manager and uninstall the IDE/ATAPI controllers (you will lose access to all drives but a reboot will let Windows re-install them automatically)
