I am making a slideshow in roxio Creator 2009. I am running windows vista.
When I preview the slideshow on my computer, it works just fine, but when I playback on my DVD player, there is a 'blip every 45 seconds or so in the video and audio. I have tried changing the encoding - but am not having any luck. I'm unsure what all the settings mean, could there be something else I need to do? Please help- I am making a slideshow for a funeral and need it done before friday!!! Thank you!

1) Try another video player.   Does it play back on your computer OK?  Use VLC free player or CinePlayer
2) Use Video Wave and not one of the slide show assistants to make the slide show.
3) Turn off your anti-virus and anti-malware when you are doing any video work.  If fact, turn everythign off that you don't need.
4) When you go to burn, burn (encode) to an ISO file and then copy the ISO file to a GOOD quality disc.  No Memorex or store brands.  Verbatim if you can get them.
