some one help please, iam new to this software and i bought a canon hg 20 cam and the software that came with it is junk, image mixer3 se.

i am having to burn a rough dvd from  the soft ware that came with the cam then copy it, to much work, what kind of driver do i need to make this cam work with 2010 crator plus, i am lost a readt to through all this in the trash.

my main puter is loaded, hp touch screen with vista unlimited installed.

all i want is to be able to plug the hg 20 by usb and upload and make a video, please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"No can do" -- USB with a camcorder won't work for capturing a video file.  You may get the video but not the audio.

It is a hard drive camera so all you have to do is plug it in to your computer via USB and copy the AVCHD files to a folder on your computer.  Open "Edit Video Advanced" select wide screen and add the files.  Your computer should recognize the camcorder as another hard drive. Do not use a USB hub or a USB port on the front of your computer.

Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

thanks i will give it a try and see where it takes me, camera shots good video but i think there were easer cameras to use!!!!!

I have a sample file from the HG10.  Should have .mts file extension.  Just copy those files to your hard drive and use them with Videowave or MyDVD. Make sure you have set the programs for 16:9.

I don't think Creator 2010 supports .mts file, do they?
