I can't get TV Togo to install a link in the other programs section of MCE.  I've uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled a few times now and it fails to install.  I tried running the RegisterMCE...exe program on the mytvtogo.xml file in the install dir to re-register it with MCE but it says it is already installed.

This is with the 3.1 version from roxio's website.

Anyone experience this problem and know of a solution?

Thanks

Well after some poking around, something is causing the install place the registry settings incorrectly into the registry.

The install sticks it here:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Extensibility\Entry Points

Instead of where the rest of the programs are...

After more poking around I figured out some states that cause the install to fail.

My HTPC has two accounts, a password protected admin account and a non password non admin "media" account.  I use the admin account via remote desktop to install programs.

Installing MyTV Togo via remote desktop fails to properly embed the program into MCE.
Installing MyTV Togo from the HTPC properly installs and embeds into MCE.

Unfortunately after successfully installing MyTV Togo it will not run for any other users that did not install the program.  It does not show up in MCE and does not run from the start menu.  When run from the start menu by users that did not install the application, MyTV Togo hangs while trying to access the recored programs from MCE.

Please allow the install to work for all users not just the person who installed it.

Thanks
