Suddenly, we are unable to load and have recognized disks either to play or to record with Toast Lite. Does this mean the drive has been damaged and should be returned to you? We have no choice after loading any disk other than to press the button to open the tray. Thank you.

We dont make recorders. We make software. This is a forum where users help other users with the Toast application. It is possible that you may be having a hardware issue if you cannot even read commercial discs in the drive. You may want to contact the drive manufacturer and go through whatever troubleshooting they recommend.
