I simply copy and paste photos (under Windows Explorer) onto a DVD. They turn up fine when I open the DVD to view but somehow disappear when it is played on someone else's computer. It also happens when I use "Drag-to-Disc" application. I do remember to choose the appropriate option before closing the disc (that is to make the disc readable on computers without Roxio apps). Please advise cos I've got a tonne of photos to burn for my friends! Thanks!

Drag to Disc has not been used since Easy Media Creator 9.0.  You posted in Creator 2009 which is versions and years newer than EMC (whatever you have).  Before this is moved, please let us know what you have so we can move it to the right section of the forum for you to get the best answer.

Do you see them all on your computer when you insert the disc; you answered yes.  It is an issue with the other computer(s) and/or the dics themselves.   Do not use Memorex or inexpensive store brands.

Also please list your computer specs and your operating system.  What brand of disc are you using?
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
