I upgraded at the beginning of 2006 to Creator 8 (unfortunately, I might add).   I have struggled with it continuously.   Has anyone figured out how to access the information on the "Content Disk."  I have installed it, but can find no special content.   I've actually been very disappointed in Creator 8, because many of the special programs available in 7.5 are no longer there.    I'm thinking maybe they are part of the Content Disk information; however, I can't seem to find any special content anywhere.

Due to problems with the system, I unstalled Easy Creator 8 -- both the program and the content (which takes significant space).   When I reinstalled, I did not initially install the Content CD because I didn't have time.   Now, I've installed it -- and there is no difference between the program with and without it.   I have just used up several hundred additional MB of space, but can see no special content.   Can someone help me?   Where is it?   How can you access it?

Not sure of everything that is on it but essentially the Content disc contains more backgrounds, themes transitions etc. You do not "access them", they are either available in your programs or they are not…

What V7 program do you think is missing?

Are you installing the program and the content on the same drive and is that your default (c:\) ?  I saw what you are describing once in V7 but a delete, reinstall did re-link the content to the program.  Are you following all good install practices like installing to a clean and defragged hard drive with lots of free space AND disconnected from the internet, all anti-virus and anti-malware shut down?

Just in case, open Video Wave and see how many transitions you have available.  If you have few, then there is a problem, if you have about 130 or so, then the content is installed properly but your computer may not be fully V8 compatible (update your video card drivers) and if you see over 240 then the content is installed properly and your computer is up to the requirements.  Again, what programs are missing?

Also just in case, make sure you have the home page open and under applications, you should see 12 applications and seven utilities.

Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

The CONTENT disc does not have any applications on it. It includes extra MyDVD menu styles and images for the premade Photosuite projects like calendars, posters, etc.

As far as I know, Sonic/Roxio does not sell any additional styles for Label Creator.  However, you can easily create and save your own label 'styles'.  Just customize teh background, add smart objects or whatever. Then click FILE / SAVE AS STYLE

If you have the full EMC 8 suite, there should be twelve and seven utilities. If you are missing one, it could be CinePlayer that won't show if you already had it on your computer.

I have Backup My PC.  Again, it may just not show on your home page if you had it previously installed.
