I've configured the "Selected Folder" to point to a LAN mapped drive full of jpg pictures.
The Media Manager flashes up "Watching folders..." regularily, but I never see the pictures show up through any of the tools when I do a search, etc.
What is the easiest way to prove it is actually working...

Have you enabled file sharing.
