I want to make a DVD from a folder of photographs and some music I have on my PC. Can I:
1. Do this
2. set the total length to fit the music (i.e. change the time thatthe pictures are displayed)
3. create HD or blu-ray DVDs

Thanks,

Hugh

1. Yes
2. Yes
3. well maybe???

As to setting the length to the music, you have to apply a little common sense. Here I have a slideshow about 12 ˝ minutes long:

Now I add the background of a song that is a little under 3:00 minutes If I choose Fit Audio to Video (I changed to Timeline view so you can see the audio compared to the pictures):

It will do it, but notice that the default time for each will have to drop to 1.2 seconds to work with that short of a song… That is bit quick for most folks wink.gif

Now there are some ways to get this done… But you should get the idea.

Creator 2010 has the ability to make an AVCHD on a DVD. You do understand that it still requires a BD Player (which can play AVCHD) in order to work… A DVD Player that can play one is pretty rare and disappearing since BD won out.

To create BD you would have to go with the Creator 2010 Pro version. Of course you must have a BD Burner to work.

Oddly, you would need a BD Playback Plug-in ($30) to view BD discs in the CinePlayer viewer.
