Hi, I've edited a video with premiere 6. The only way I seem to be able to get toast to import the video is from the camera, can't drag it. but there are places where the sound drops out and is replaced by static, or some noise. I can hear the original sound somewhat in the background, but not well. (I'm on a Mac. Premiere no longer supports Mac - or is it the other way around? - so I can't import from camera to the Mac in OS 10.x, I have to use 9.whatever. I save the project on the Hard Drive but then cannot drag it into Toast when I'm back in OS 10). It seems that no other video makes this noise. By that I mean video that is just straight video on the camera, unedited stuff with original sounds, raw footage. Only edited things. This may be a Premiere issue, I don't know. The noise appears in the same place all the trime. Not very random. I also tried re-exporting to the camera at a different location on the tape. Noise is in the same places again. Frankly, I'm at wits end and would appreciate any insight at all. I'm no genius, and it may show. Thanks, all.

I'm guessing this is a QuickTime issue. So your version of Premiere works in OS 9. What is the file format that it is saving for your edited movie. Is it possible to save as a self-contained full-quality Quicktime movie?
What version of OS X are you using and what version of Quicktime. Also, which version of Toast 6?

I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
