Burning VCD

Question

Hello everyone,

I just recently got the Roxio 2010 and have used it to burn a VCD. However, when I played the disc the videos were skipping. Does anyone know a way to fix that? I thought that it might be the speed at which my burner was burning the disc but when I opened the burn page it doesn't allow me to change the burn speed (I hope that makes sense).

Anyway, I would greatly appreciate anyone's suggestions or help with me solving this problem. Thank you very much.

hi gtashley, just a quick question, what video format are the files that you are starting with? before you convert to VCD?

I was able to duplicate that - it looks as if there is no way to alter the speed.

What you could try instead is make an image file (burn that to the hard drive) and use imgburn to write the VCD. HNot the most elegant solution but it should work.

Just as a side note, VCDs are always a bit problematic (set-top boxes don't like them a lot)
