I am making a production that consist of all avi files. There are 11 avi files from my camera and I've created a slideshow of still photos and converted it to a avi and wmv file. I've set the production to ntsc prior to burning. When I start the burn, it will encode all 11 of the avi files and when it gets to the slideshow file(converted to avi) it will stop encoding with about 85% being completed. The encoding screen is black and nothing is happening. What am I doing wrong or what step did I not take in order for it not to encode the slideshow file?

I can't really answer your question but was wondering why you made an avi file with the pictures.  Why not just put the pictures on separately?  I make mine in Videowave and just add the avi files after the pictures so I can end the music at the end of the pictures.  It works good for me.

DO NOT DOUBLE POST. Doing so will lead to confusion !

What application did you use to "convert" the slide show to AVI?  Why did you do that?  The program would take the slide show project and encode it properly.  It is possible that there are some errors int he sldie show.  Did you try making that slide show in Video Wave?  How long(time)are the 11 video files and the slide show?

Just to confirm, are you using Easy Media Creator 8 or MyDVD 8.
