Inserting Images On This Forum

I want to add screen snippets showing a problem I'nm researching in Creator 2010.  When I click on Insert Image while typing this message, I'm asked for a URL instead of a browser button.

How do I upload a small screenshot created with the Microsoft Snipping Tool?  It creates small .jpg files that I would like to post with my questions.

Thanks, and I understand if security prohibits doing this.

That was planned with the recent forum upgrade, uploading screen-shots, the folks that run this boards software don't have it up and running yet.

Host your screen-shots on a site (Google for free web hosting sites) and insert the url when the  Insert Image icon is clicked..

I figured it out finally.

Brian - you should be able to upload load now.

Cd - sorry for the wait...the option was actually deeper than I thought it would be  :rolleyes:

How to take a screen shot using Windows.

Explained here (link)

There is also a free program that will take a screen shot and save the image as an image file you can post.  The program is called Jing.  The free program has enough functionality to do what you need to do.

There are tutorials here.
