Hi there, I'm trying to burn a DVD with Toast... it gets all the way through the burn until the counter reaches 00:00, and it still says "Burning 'My DVD'", but it's hanging and won't progress any further. Any suggestions? I'm burning an AVI file onto a DVD-Video.

Well first I would start by burning to an image file rather then a disc. If you can burn to the image file (file menu and choose save as disc image) then you are probably looking at a hardware related issue. I would start by trying another brand of media and also look for any firmware updates available for the recorder you have.
