I put together a video on MYDVD. Pressed the Burn button and the encoding started with no problem. It went through the whole encoding process to 97%. When burn to disc came up the whole computer froze up to the point I had to unplug the computer. I tried it twice with the same result. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it. Same outcome. Went through four discs. Then tried to burn an audio DVD. No problem in the burning process. I have done this MYDVD burning successfully ever since I got the program with no problem.
I have burned many DVD videos. What in the world could have happened. Is it the program, the drivers?

The first thing to try is instead of selecting your DVD burner as the destination, select the option to create an image file. This will write a .ISO image to your HD, and eliminate the burner interface from the equation. That's the way I prefer to create my video DVDs anyway, first to an ISO image, then write the image file to DVD. Assuming you get your image file created correctly, you can then open Creator Classic and choose, "Create Disc from Image File" (or whatever the exact wording is), navigate to your ISO image file, and let it burn.
Let us know if that helps.
