This is why.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

I have installed a clean windows 7 64bit, completed all updates from Microsoft for the OS, and then installed Creator 2009 ultimate.  when run, I got the not compatible message.  After downloading the latest update from Roxio (sp4) and installing, all apps work fine for me.  No errors or not compatible messages at all.

Hope that this helps.

It may work for awhile OR you have not used the applications that won't work in W7.  You are lucky!  :P

Hi,

I hope someone can help.  I have the same non compatible issue with Windows 7.  Service Pack 4 comes as a winzip file which is only useable if I buy a copy of Winzip.  Is Service pack 4 available in some other format that is usable or is there some other workaround.

Thanks

Installing Serrvice Pack 4 will not allow C reator 2009 to run with Windows 7.  (That a big period !.

There are other unzippers that are free; go to cnet.com to download oone if you want to continue to beat your head against a wall.! Posted ImagePosted Image

Windows 7 should unzip that file.It will extract zip files with no third party program.

Take a look here.

That still doesn't belie the fact that C2009 isn't truly Win7 compatible.
