Looking to buy a video editor to author some DVD Slide shows. I have been using Ulead VS8 which works very well, however I need some additional functionalityy. So I either upgrade to Ulead VS10 or consider EMC8.
Uleads VS10 plus (been running the 30 day trial) has Dolby Digital (AC3, actually 5.1) in addition to 6 Overlay tracks.
Does EMC have AC3 (Dolby Digital) encoded output??? 2ch stereo is fine
How many Overlay Tracks does EMC8 Suite have!!!
Frankly I have looked at everything, as it turns out I was on "Sonics/Roxios" email list and received an offer for EMC8 and thought I would check it out.
Any one producing slide shows with EMC8..........
Regards

Here are the specs on EMC 8 and EMC 8 Deluxe. The Deluxe version has 32 overlay tracks, and I would not even consider getting the regular version of EMC 8.

Thank you for the quick reply, yes I have spent the last 2-3 hours looking at the Roxio site and their various offerings. The description you pointed to does suggest multiple overlay tracks however it does not mention Dolby (AC3) nor does the manual, all 344 pages.
Thanks

Click on Easy Media Creator 8 (top left on this page), then open up "supported file types in EMC8".
