One way is to use Sound Recorder to convert files.  In the Home screen, click the Audio tab then Edit Audio.  Add your wma file then you can use the Export function to convert to a number of other formats.
You can also do this in Music Disc Creator as well.

I like the almost-automated "Batch Convert and Transfer" for this although some people don't.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

I am using Creator 8.  I don't have an EDIT AUDIO selection under AUDIO. What version has the EDIT AUDIO option?

Do you see Sound Editor?  Use that.  Use the export function.  You should also see Music Disc Creator.

We need to confirm what you really have.  There is an Easy Media Creator 8  and there may be an OEM called Creator 8 which would be a limited version of the EMC 8 program.  Where did you get the one you have?  If it came on your computer or with a piece of hardware, then it is an OEM

Take a screen shot of the Home page and post it here so we can see what you see.

You won't see the Sound Editor in the main menu Audio Guide in Creator 8 - it's found from the Home application, under "Applications"

Alternately, you can get to it through the Windows Start button, like so.

Does this help you? :)
