The CD's that I burn using ”Easy CD and DVD Burning DE Home Version: 10.3.106" won't play in my car.  I have tried burning audio  disks using Jukebox and data disk.  All of the files I put on the disk are WMA and play fine on the computer.   I have made disks using other software with both MP3 and WMA files and they play fine in the car.  When I put the Roxio disk in the stereo it says that there are no audio files.  I am running windows 7 on a new Dell computer.  I'm hoping that this problem is a simple setting issue and I won't need to go buy new software.  Thanks in advance for your help.

It sounds to me like you're creating an MP3 CD, not an Audio CD.  If you look at the discs(s) you've created using Windows Explorer, do you see the file names you used as the source?  For an Audio CD, you shouldn't, you should see:

Track01.CDA
Track02.CDA
Track03.CDA
.
.
.
etc.

Make sure you select Create Music CD, not a "jukebox" CD.  You will only be able to add about 80 minutes worth of music to the project, then you'll know you're using the right option.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the post, but an mp3/wma disk is what I'm trying to make. I did it before with other software and had no problems.  I want to use mp3/wma files so I can have the contents of several disks on one CD. I no longer have my old computer so using the old software isn't an option.  If you can think of anything else please let me know.

Are you trying to use cheap or questionable media - store brands or Memorex?  Don't. use good quality CD media.
Also if you are trying to make an mp3 disc with music with DRM protection, you can't.  There are typically music file from ITunes or ITumes library.

I wanted to thank everyone for the help. I contacted tech support and they did the usual tech support routine of blaming the disk and operator error.  I now have "CDBurnerXP" from another company.  I'm happy to report that it works perfectly.  I used the same disks and files and all the songs play on my car stereo.  I don't know what the Roxio software is doing during the burn process but the car stereo didn't like it.  I'm guessing it may be a bit rate issue.  Whatever, I'm just happy to have a program that works. Thanks again for the replies.
