Hello out there I have Easy media creator 7.0, running on Windows xp pro.  I was previously running Explorer 6.0 and everything worked fine. I recently updated to explorer 7. When I try to open previous projects at the bottom on the main page, it states the dvd builder has encountered a prblem and needs to close.  The error signature AppName: dvdbuilder7 .exe  AppVer: 7.1.0.189  ModName dxtrans.dll  ModVer: .0.6001.18702  Offset: 0000a4fl
error Report Contents

Then it continues up to module 117  and then Threads are listed.  Does anyone know how to fix this or are my old projects dead.  Also i am updating to Creator 9 Suite should I let creator delete 7 or not?  If someone could help it would be greatly appreciated. I am not a very good at computor problems and my knowledge base is not very strong.

mdv, installing IE 7 effectively killed the video editing portion of your EMC 7.  You need to remove it, and Windows Media Player, if you have anything beyond WMP 9 installed.

After you uninstall IE 7, you may have to install EMC 7, again.

If you have unfinished projects, in EMC 7, then you need to finish them in EMC 7.  The EMC 7 projects won't open properly in EMC 9.
Life is good!
