[SalR]

Each time I try to install Creator 2011 it says install interrupted.  Internet, AV, etc turned off. New HD and install of Win 7 pro.

You're the second person I've seen with this issue.

Download this file and drop it into the install folder replacing setup.exe.

Then run the DisableDirectX.bat file

This will not install DirectX. You can download that from here and run dxsetup.exe after you install Creator 2011

I had the same issues, and this method appeared to do the trick re. getting the program to install. However, the Roxio Burn widget never appears when I insert a blank disc - I just get the autoplay prompt that gives me the option of using Roxio, however it just takes me to the home page of the Creator 2011 program, which is blank? Any help there?  I am running Windows 7 (64).

Do you see a BASICBURN_0160_Install.log file in the log folder?

I tried your process and it didn't work for me. The install process got about 3/4 through and stalled on 'Instaling Roxio BackOnTrack' (as it had on all previous attempts) then backed out with the error message of being interupted.
Any other suggestions?

- brand new computer, Win7, no other software installed so far
- I downloaded RoxioWinOnCDCreator2011_JA08A030W13 and tried to install it
- 1st installation failed, I saw in the logfile that DirectX causes the Problem. So I Installed DirectX Web (dxwebsetup.exe)
   Eror in the logfile:
   'InstallActions.DIRECTX_FEB10.INSTALLDIRECTX_WEB failed with exit code -9'
   (see attachment for full logfile)
- 2nd installation failed with same error. So I installaed DirectX Redist (directx_feb2010_redist.exe)
- in the forum, I saw the option "DisableProducts", so I tried "setup.exe DisableProducts=DIRECTX_FEB10" which caused the same error
- then I read this forum topic, downloaded the above mentioned zip. Now, just at the begin of the installation, a box pops up with
   "Error 0002", nothing else. No logfiles

2. Download http://www.dutran.co...etup356B40A.zip and extract all files to the same folder. Should be prompted to overwrite setup.exe

For the sake of the Mee Too posters, WinOnCD is a European product and schufi is posting from Switzerland... that would explain why you can't find these things on yours.

Error 0002 is "Cannot find files". You need to place setup.exe and DisableDirectX.bat in the same folder as the install files.

I have all files in the same folder see attachment
I also attached some systems information but this shouldn't be an issue.

I guess, that Setup.exe is looking for RoxioCreator* not for RoxioWinOnCD* in the installation folder.

It would be great if there is an adapted Setup.exe for WinOnCD.

See the two .exe files? (eg. RoxioWinOnCDCreator2011_JA08A030W13.exe)
If you have Winzip or WinRar installed you should extract to folder. They are zipped executables. Once extracted you'll see the setup.exe that you need to replace.

Thanks, that was the crucial hint. I didn't know that RoxioWinOnCDxxx.exe is a zip file.
I extracted it, replaced the Setup.exe, run the batch and the installation worked fine so far.
Now I hope, that all functions are running properly ;-)

I am trying to follow all these instructions.  After I replace Setup.exe into the folder where everything has been extracted, I get error code 000D.  Do you know what I am doing wrong?
