I received the error code 0490 when attempting to download an update from Roxio.  Does anyone know how to get code information?

What are you trying to update and how?  What version of the software do you have?  Where are you going for the download?
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

PC  Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

Laptop - Windows 7 Home
Dell XPS 1645, Intel I7 1,6G with overdrive ,4G RAM, 1 GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730, Sound Blaster X-Fi MB Panzer, 500G hard drive.

Apple =OSX 10.5
MacBook Pro; 15.4-inch widescreen display, 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB memory, 200GB hard drive, 8x SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW), NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT with 256MB of GDDR3 memory.  ILife 08, Toast 10, Final Cut Express 4 and Photoshop 4.

Update Critical Manager December 2008 is what I'm trying to download.  This is the first time I have ever updated my program which is Roxio easy media Creator 9.  I was attempting to download directly from the Help section of my Roxio program.  From Help I clicked on "Updates."

The only update to EMC 9 is the EMC 9.1 update, and it was basically for making the program compatible with Vista.  If you aren't using Vista, you don't need it, but if you want it, you can get it here:
