Hello,
We have Roxio as a standard on our machines, running XP with SP2, and when users are asking to save their files or PST's we would move them to CD'd but as things have grown more and more a CD is no longer appropriate so I have been trying to move stuff to DVD and it DOES NOT GIVE THAT OPTION with ROXIO 7, and I am not interested in burning a video which is the only option it ever comes up with. I've looked at different ways to try and get this working for the last couple of weeks and still nothing, and I find it frustrating to have to give 2 or 3 cd's to a user when I should have been able to give him 1 DVD!!
Any patch, workaround, hidden menu? Works fine at home with Nero so what is the problem with Roxio?
Machine Dell GX620 P4 3.6Ghz / 2 gig Ram / 80+gig HD / DVD is a NEC DVD ND-3530A and works flawlessly.
Thank you for any hints.
Jaime

I don't have version 7 but version 7.5 and if you go to Creator Classic, make the task Data Disc,go to the bottom bar,you should be able to change the disc size to 4.7Gb which is a DVD.Do you not have this choice?

I have used both 7 and 7.5 for burning a 4.7 GB DVD disk. Both versions work fine. Just bring up Creator Classic and drop all your files into the burn area just like you would do with CD-R media. Just place a DVD*/- R media disc in the drive (Make sure it's a DVD drive) and then as Terry suggested down near the bottom of the screen change the memory size of the media to 4.7 GB. This is a screen shot of the area where you can change the size. This shot was from EMC 8 but versions 7 and 7.5 are very similar and in the same location.
