I have a strange problem with chapter points when burning a DVD with MyDVD packaged in Easy Media Creator Suite 10.
The DVD I am trying to burn is 1 hour 36 minutes in length. However any chapter points I create after the 40 minute mark do not appear on the burned video. I have played around with it until I am blue in the face but havent been able to find a solution.
I would stress this has nothing to do with exceeding the maximum number of chapter points (99 as I understand). As an experiment I inserted 99 chapter points between the start of the video and the 40 minute mark and all appeared on the final video. However when I tried a burn with 20 chapter points all of the chapter points after the 40 minute mark did not appear.
I am wondering if the problem may be linked to the fact that I am working with a HD video (the problem does not seem to occur when working with videos of lower resolution). Also the video has been split into many small clips, and perhaps this has something to do with it.
Any help with this problem would be much appreciated.

What quality setting are you using when burning the DVD?
A standard 4.7GB DVD can only hold 60 minutes of video at best quality (HQ setting). Since you project is over 90 minutes you have to use some setting to compress the video to fit on the DVD. This usually means a loss of quality especially if you use the Fit-to-disc setting which is known to corrupt the menu for over 60 minute videos.

Thanks for the reply.
I am using Fit to Disc, however I also tried shortening the DVD to less than 60 minutes and burned it at the HQ setting. If that worked I was going to split the project and burn to two discs. However I got the same result - no chapter marks after the 40 minute mark. Weird or what?
