I have followed all of the uninstall instructions. I am probably above average with my computer knowledge, and have never ever had this kind of problem before. The reason I was reinstalling is the program just completely quit working all of a sudden for no apparent reason. I contacted roxio and they no longer support this product. I can not understand why this program is so difficult to work with. I have never ever had to edit my registry to do a fresh install of a program, in my opinion this is an inexcusable flaw. so after following all instructions and reading anything I could find on the subject, when I try to install it starts and after about 1 minuet it says it is complete and I click the finish button, but it is NOT installed, I cannot find anything roxio or sonic anywhere on my computer. I have used CCcleaner and revo uninstaller and tried everything I could figure or find in a forum. I can find no reason to ever purchase a roxio product again as this is not an acceptable flaw and they have no answer to it, so they have shot themselves in the foot with this one. I would still like to get the program that I paid for to work again if possible, but if not I will have to put out $$ for another program I guess, so needless to say I am very unhappy, as I should NOT have to be purchasing another program after already paying for a program that should work but does not. If you can help me I would appreciate it. Also I am sure there are others with this problem and maybe they may be helped also.
Thanks for any help Sparkie

It probably won't work again until you find out what happened to cause a working suite to completely quit working. Norton or McAfee maybe?

I have stopped all programs including AVG, which has not effected it before to my knowledge. I even tried stopping all services. Any ideas on what to try?? maybe try installing in safe mode??

Ok no thanks to anyone from roxio, I have solved my problem. Maybe this will help someone else. After following the uninstall instructions found in this forum I could not reinstall from the CD. I went here http://www.roxio.com...re_updates.html and downloaded the update and installed it and it worked. So hopefully I will save someone else from the extreme headache this thing has given me.
None of the folks helping out here, are Roxio people, unless you see the Roxio logo near their name.
BTW, you did get help from Roxio....the kb article, where you found the download.
