Hello, I found an unopened box containing the VideoWave111 editing suite at a local 2nd hand store. Is this system out of date? Can it be used? Does Roxio/MGI have any free updates concerning this product? I have Compaq PC w/windows vista and google chrome. Any input would really be appreciated. Thanks, Merrill.

VideoWave 111 ??? Don't think there was one by that name.

Is it possible you meant VideoWave III (aka 3 in roman numerals)? If that's the case, and it has MGI as part of the brand name, then yes that is a very out of date product. It would be extremely doubtful that you could get it to install and function on your Vista OS, as it predates even Windows XP. And no, Roxio/Sonic would have no free updates or upgrades for that product to a current one.
