Difficulties Uploading To My Website

We want to upload a photoshow to a church website. The assumption is that the website is written in html, but users are only given the option of copying a file or adding a link to another website. Is uploading the photoshow something only the webmaster can do or is there some way we can do it? If we copy/paste into the text, the html code just appears.

If the church's website is large enough and you follow the procedure needed to upload to that website, it shouldn't be a problem..

Sounds like no one involved knows how to do it?
