Hello:
I am using Video Wave 7 Build 7.0.454.0 - DVD Builder to create a DVD using still images captured from a digital camera. When I preview the project using the DVD builder preview pane the images are pixelized with jagged edges. Has anyone else encountered this problem and if so can you please help me fix this issue.

Respectfully;
Mark K. :)

What you see on the preview is not always what you get when you burn to a DVD. Have you tried one yet to see if the final ouput is okay?

OK I burned the project to a DVD R+W at the highest quality settings and and the pixelazation and jagged did not appear in the pictures, but when I played the DVD in a DVD player it had a jitter throughout the entire DVD that was very apparent with images that contained horizontal lines. Any Idea on how to corect this?

Thanks - Mark K.

About all I can suggest for the moment is that you try to keep your pictures to the TV-safe standard of 640X480 pixels (4:3) ratio. You can turn on the "show tv safe area" in the preview screen.

By the way...are all the pics showing problems or is it just a few?

I'm not sure this is what you are seeing and I've never seen it on a horizontal stripe. Some people see a jagged or almost herringbone pattern on items like shirts with vertical pin stripes. This is a problem with TV displays. If this is the case, then you might be able to get rid of it by putting a very small amount of blur on the picture; not enough to impact the sharpness when viewed on a TV. You can do this with Photosuite by going to effects/special effects and selecting blur/smart blur1 and moving the cursor to the left. Move it back to the right until you see the pattern disappear. If you have something like PhotoShop, you can add a 1/2 to 1 pixel blur.
