I am unable to preview my dvd in the preview screen or modify text messages. The preview screen is black.
My system setup: Windows XP version 2002 service pack 2.
Computer: Compaq Presario AMD XP 3200+ 2.20 GHz 448 MB of RAM
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to correct this problem?

Most display problems can be solved by updating your video card drivers and getting the latest DirectX (Jun2006). Also go to Tools/Options and run the graphics test.

It is probably your video card - update the drivers from the HP site. You didn't post a model so I can't get any closer than that. Also make sure you have the latest version of DirectX (9).
Yes, I know that everything else will run well on your computer but V8 requires a lot from your video card/chips - probably more than some games. If you have on-board video, consider buying a $50-$100 video card.
