Did Roxio EMC 8 cause this Quiken Program will not recognize drive E

Hello All,
Since installing ECM 8, I have had difficulty with my Quiken program. Prior to installing ECM 8, Quiken was able to back up and read my CD-RW disc. Now it can't. Also lost sound for Quiken as well.
