I made an audio CD using Imation CD-RW, Data Rewritable Media. I am using Creator Premier 10.3. To make the CD, I clicked on the Audio CD icon and added/selected a WAV file and then I clicked on the orange button on the bottom right corner. I can play the CD on my boombox CD player but it does not play on my better quality CD player. It does not play on my car's CD player either. When I look at the contents of the CD on my computer, I see a cda file with 1 kb size! Please help.

The fact that it plays on the home system says there is nothing wrong with the recording
Try a -R (not a -RW) as it's possible your in-car system just doesn't like them

That .cda file is normal for an Audio cd.It is a marker file that tells where the actual coding resides on the disc.

Use good quality ones - not the cheap 'own brand' or Memorex
