i have noticed that when i use the normalize option, on some songs there is clipping, when a high note or part of the song sounds distorted, sort of like a wrinkled cassette tape. any way to fix this? i know soundstream has no normalize controling slide like other roxio versions. and spin doctor does not seem to help either,
thanks

The technology and software have improved beyond recognition since this program was written last century. If you have access to other later versions it might pay you to use them.

I agree with you about the clean-cut simplicity and reliability of ECDC 5. It's a very robust suite, compared with the "everything to everybody" complex suites with near impossible installers nowadays.
Unfortunately I have never used the normalizing function, so I can't help you on this one.
