It could be that your drive is starting to make it's way to drive heaven.
Do you wanna hear me beg you to take me back?
I'd gladly do it because....."

An 00/00/00 (00) error isn't good. It could mean that the drive isn't communicating properly with your system [bad/loose connections] or that the drive is dying like Terry said.

You can't write audio discs. Can you write any other disc types with your Sonic/Roxio software?
While we're at it, which version of RecordNow are you using? Is it a guaranteed Windows 7 compatible version?
The compatibility notice is HERE.

It seems there's nothing wrong with your drives. If they can write with other software they're fine, and you've shown the connections to the drives are fine too.
The bottom part of the error message doesn't add anything to the picture. The sense error values and PX engine version are the only important things. You have the latest PX engine [4.18.16]. You have a Win7 compatible version of RecordNow.
Something seems to be stopping the reception/interpretation of a sense error from the drive, so I'm at a loss here.
Did you update or add any software to your system between the time RecordNow worked and the time it stopped?
You don't have that I.E. 9 beta installed, do you?

I don't know if it is the same issue with this lower end software, but the Roxio software, made for Blackberry, does not get along with the high end Roxio software, such as the Easy Media Creator software and the newer Creator 2009, 2010, and 2011 software.
Did you reboot, after you uninstalled your beta IE9 software?

Yes IE9 is uninstalled. Still having problems. The Blackbderry Desktop Software I don't beleive is the blackberry software by roxio, as I downloaded the blackberry software directly from the blackberry website. I could be wrong though.
