I note that when I try to register Roxio Streamer for the first time, the product key won't work as it is one digit too long. The dialogue box for Streamer registration takes 19 characters where as the product key has 20 in the following format XX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX.

I tried without the dashes in the product key but still no luck. Grateful for any suggestion as to how to fix this so as to be able to proceed with the installation.

Is this the Retail Stand Alone Version or the one that is included with Creator 2011???

Indeed it is the version which is included with Creator 2011. I have actually visted the page you suggest and done what it says but I still note that there is only space for 19 and not 20 characters for the activation key for Roxio Streamer. Do you suggest a complete uninstall and reinstall?

I missed this in your initial post, the CD Key is 17 characters long, not 19, not 20...

There is no seperate key available for Streamer, it is part of the Roxio 2011 install.

If you try to install the Streamer separately you will need a separate Streamer key to permit the installation.

Here is how you get the separate key,

but it is cheaper to reinstall the Creator 2011 you have already bought and to install Streamer at the same time as/with the main suite, as per the pinned post.
