I am trying to Burn a DVD but everytime it comes to my slideshow it stops.  I tried just burning the slideshow and it still wouldn't encode.  I took off the background audio and then it would encode.  I've burned slideshows recently that had background audio with no problems.  Any suggestions why there would be a problem with burning the background audio?  I even tried encoding one of my old slideshows and it won't work anymore.  HELP!!

Tough to tell. List the steps that you went through to create the slideshow, including what program in EMC 8 that you used to create it.

Also, what type of audio file did you use?

I created the slideshow in Videowave.  I added my pictures and then added the Audio from iTunes.  I have followed these same steps for other slideshows but now I can't burn them to a DVD.  I can play the slideshow in the preview screen and it plays just fine with the music.  But once I try to burn the DVD and it's encoding it just seems to sit there and do nothing.  I don't get an error or anything.  I have been working on this all day, any suggestions would be helpul.

Try ripping a track from a cd and adding that audio. The iTunes audio has copy protection DRM, that could be causing your problems.

I actually ripped the track from a cd but I put the song in my iTunes folder.  Could that still be causing the problem since it come from the iTunes folder?

Did you rip it as either a .wav or .mp3 file?  If not, rip it again, and do it as .wav or .mp3 and try those.
