Hello,
My Roxio Easy Media Creator 9 home edition on my Windows Vista program has run just fine for a couple of years.  But recently, I tried to open the program and it always says that the program has closed.  I 'check online for solutions' and 'view details'. Attached File  Problem signature.doc   25K   50 downloads attachment is the message it gives me. I even tried to download an update but can't get that to open in a readable form.  I have the disk that came with my dell computer, as Roxio EMC9 came pre-loaded, I tried to repair, and then to re-install but no matter what I do I can't get it to open up anymore.  Any suggestions?

Came pre-loaded on my Dell are the key words here. Have you contacted Dell support?

If you have the EMC 9 disc, I'd suggest you do a complete uninstall of EMC 9, rather than just trying to reinstall or repair. You need to get all the broken bits and debris out before you reinstall.

Use the method shown by clicking on #14 in Cdanteek's signature to completely uninstall it. Then reboot and try reinstalling it from your disc.
