I have installed the Audio Capture Support several times, but the choice of CDSD System Audio Capture is there for a moment, then it disappears. I am getting an error that says, "Unable To Record (see Help for possible solutions)." Of course, Help has nothing to say about this. I am on a Mac with the latest OS X. Anyone else have the same problem?

I have exactly the same problem. All worked fine when I first installed it and captured some internet audio. Then I downloaded the latest update for Toast 10 Titanium and the Spin Doctor add on wouldnt record with exactly the same error message you have. I removed the whole program from my iMac and reinstalled it, but didnt download the update. Sin Doctor worked again for one time then I got the error  massage again. I have reinstalled the Audio Capture Support but am still unable to use the streaming capture through my on board audio card. I have the latest Mac OS running on an iMac i3. Ive read that Roxio are pretty useless in the Support arena so am not holding my breath for a swift, if any, reply to our comments.

I've had trouble with the audio capture support and think I've found a way to get it set up to work. Go to the System>Library>Extensions folder and delete CDSDaudiocapturesupport.kext if it is present. Control click on the CD Spin Doctor application and choose Show Package Contents. Open the Resources folder and launch CDSDAudioCaptureSupport.pkg. This will install the capture support. Now launch CD Spin Doctor. If you still have trouble with Start Auto Music Capture in the first window, click Start a New Recording and the Advanced button.Select CDSD System Audio Capture as the Input Device and it hopefully will work for you.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!

Yes, I agree that Roxio is not very good on the support front! Here is one of their responses!

"After reviewing your case notes, I understand that you're still experiencing issues capturing web audio using Toast 10.

I will provide you the required information.

Lee, To capture web audio i request you to refer the link given below:

Note: Please click on the Listen tab.

or you can refer the user guide for CD Spin Doctor 6 using the link given below:

Thanks. I gave that a whirl and am recording as I type. We'll see if this work.

I did use this. For the moment, it seems to be working. Thank you.

I went to the extensions folder and there was nothing there.  I went through the installation process and it said "Installation Successful" yet there is no file of that name anywhere on my computer.

BTW, it appears that one can do the same installation process by going to the SpinDoctor menu and selecting Install Audio Capture Support.  Of course that did not work for me either.
