Is it possible to burn multi-session DVD-R & DVD-RW using Toast 6?

I have no problem with multi-session CD-R & CD-RW but the Close Disk function and its check box are grayed out when I select DVD.

Thanks!

Unfortunately there is not a unified standard for multisession DVD so we dont allow it to be done.

:) So, why don't you state that in your Getting Started Guide in the chapter on making video discs? Your photo shows you overweight, lounging, and mildly humored. Toast is a terrific app, but much is desired in its documentation. Maybe you should get off your ..., and revise your stupid guide, altho you look too comfortable. Pity.

Such anger.

Besides, why would it be in the chapter on making video discs? Makes no sense as ALL DVD video can only be single session.

Oh. I didn't know. My apologies to John for the vitriol. I had other issues with my project & this took the cake. No excuse, anyway. The thing is, Roxio cannot assume all Toast users know what DVD can & cannot do, nor does it owe them an obligation to instruct them in all facets.

I just think Roxio could have had a statement in the DVD chapter that DVD's are single session, only. Although, I understand DVD+R's are multi-session. I was trying to burn a DVD-R. Maybe Toast 7 has rendered this discussion moot. But, your reply solved my problem. Thanks.
