In the Project View area (Menus tab), I click on the icon of the menu where I want to add the unlinked button in order to create a "Play All" button. When I choose "DVD Menu", the "New unlinked button" option is grayed out.

Me too..

I'm being told that maybe this feature is not part of EMC 8, but some other "advanced" product

Let me know if you get a real solution

I think it is ridiculous to include unusable menu options in a production product. I reported the issue to Sonic Technical Support. Will post their answer (if they answer).
