Hello. I am using Roxio Media Creator 2010 running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. I am recording from a cassette deck and when I begin the audio capture, I notice that it is capturing in mp3 format but I want to capture in wave format. Every time I set it in wave in the sound editor it continues to capture in mp3. How do I make it capture in wave? I've read the help files and looked around but other than in Options in sound editor, I don't see any other settings to change this. I notice that when you export them, it is in wave format.

Please reread your last sentence and explain it - wav or mp3?

Which of the two main audio capture applications are you using (you didn't say).

Where did you change the capture format?

Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
