I also need help with this. I have a dell with windows XP preloaded with some sort of roxio/sonic CD/DVD software. I used the ad/remove programs in windows to remove it, but on startup or change of user, I get a message from sonic activation module which I must repeatedly click cancel to get rid of. a few seconds later, it starts again. then Installshield opens up, and I have to repeatedly cancel sonic activation module 3-4 times, a pause, then another 8-10 times. Its driving me crazy and I can't find the source of it to get rid of it.

Contact Dell, they provide all support for their OEM version.
