I can't use MyDVD to burn slideshows or movies to a DVD. I tried multiple times with the same result. It never even gets to the burning stage.

This is what I tried

1) Create a MyDVD project  - drag several slideshows into it or add a slideshow from it or add a video file(.wmv). I tried all of these variations. Note: these are very small projects with very limited menus.
2) Select Burn Project to Disc.

Result: all the slideshows get encoded but when it gets to the "encoding menu" step it just hangs. My machine is not frozen but I let it run overnight and it made no progress.

I even tried burning directly from a very simple, small, slideshow with the same result.

Instead of burning to 'disc', try one of the other options: IMAGE FILE or VIDEO FOLDER.  This would eliminate the possiblity of a burner problem.
