Recently upgraded from version - 6.... Only problem as I see it.... Waiting as long as I did - Version - 8 runs circles around it's cousin version - 6.... One of the few times it has been more than “worth the bucks”...
Now to sit down run some backups......Financial records - Photos - Music collections etc...Runs without a hitch.........Thanx & See Ya Soon

I had version 6 but did not use it much (except for audio central) until I bought Version 7.  Your right, EMC 8 is a totally different animal from V6.  Glad it is working for you without any issues.  If you run into problems, post back on the applicable board and I am sure one or more of the knowledgeable users will be able to help you.

It's really nice to hear from posters like you Aftab....who have all their computer knowledge together and right off the bat get EMC working right. You must have read some of the forum posts and got all your hardware items in order and done all the right things. Enjoy your program and as merv suggested your are welcome back any time you have any suggestions, comments, or help for others. That's what this forum is all about. BTW, I like your saying "Runs without a hitch".
