I'm trying to install EMC 10 to a new computer from a disc I burned from my old computer.  The disc only has 2 files on it EMC 10 and EMC 10 content.  When I open EMC 10, it extracts and runs 10 setup, everything fine.  When I open EMC 10 it is missing programs but runs cine player.  When I try indtalling the content folder from the disc, the wizard say EMC 10 must first be installed.  I've done a clean uninstall to include uninstall reg files.  Any help on getting content installed.  Thanks

Easy Media Creator 10 (EMC10) is not Roxio Creator 2010, where you posted.

You say your trying to install Easy Media Creator 10 on a new PC?

Does the new PC have Windows 7 for a operating system ?

Easy Media Creator 10 is not Windows 7 compatible, Roxio Creator 2010 is the first version that is Windows 7 compatible.

Thanks for your reply.  Yes it is a new PC, I followed your link (it is Easy Media Creator I'm trying to install.   I have windows XP pro.  I did installer cleanup, clean out the registry, disabled all programs and security rebooted and installed the first file which is the EMC 10  and the wizard asked me to restart for configuration changes to work.  The program opens fine but just cineplayer.  When I open 2nd file (EMC 10 content, it unzips the files and auto loads setup wizard then stops and says that EMC 10 must first be installed.  Frustrating!

Perhaps one of these might help.  That error shows up with Creator 2009 but I don't remember it with EMC 10.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
