I can burn a dvd movie and play it on my computer but it won`t play in my entertainment center.
do i have to change the movie to a certain format?
You have supplied no information on what you did so it is hard to make suggestions.
To play a video DVD in a stand-alone DVD player it has to be created in a certain format. You cannot just burn a video to a DVD and expect to play it on a DVD player.
To creat a standard DVD you have to use the program Create DVDs from the C2010 suite.
