Classic Creator 6 and 7 burned just fine. I am using from the same package of discs purchased at Office Depot. All I want to do is transfer .jpg from my hard disc to cd for my business. Seems support is non existant.. :)

These errors can occur for a couple reasons.Mostly they mean that the power needed to write to the disc cannot be achieved. This is determined by the drive and reported to the software. So they are drive problems not software problems. You can try changing media brands, updating the firmware on your drive or cleaning the drive(could be caused by dust buildup). They can also be a sign that your drive is dying.

There are only 2 possibilites for that error. Junk media, which I suspect is the problem in this case, or your burner is dead, dying, or in need of a firmware upgrade.

Or just an under-powered PC! That's what I've got. So it's not always to do with junk media or dead/dying CDRW drives. I have found that the only way round it is not to try burning as soon as the PC is switched on, but first to use several other applications at once, such as email client, browser, paint applications, etc., so that Windows is forced to increase the virtual memory. When I then shut down all unnecessary programs and try burning CDs, I have no trouble at all, even on my low-spec machine. I use Easy CD & DVD.

Lee, note the date of the thread; it is almost 3 years old and the OP has fixed the problem or gotten an new computer/burner. Why don't you just set up your computer with more virtual memory to begin with and NOT let Windows adjust it for you?
