Question:
I have DVD's of old family stuff. I want to make an updated DVD for family.
Is it possible to only capture small segments of my old dvd and use same for new DVD. Or do I have to capture the whole thing??
Im so confused..
Thanks

The short answer is NO.
However, if they are in chapters, you can copy the .vob file representing the chapter you are interested in and rename it to xxxx.mpg.
If not in chapters, same thing can be done, which will reduce your capture time.
(sometimes it will not work by just renaming)
You can then use VideoWave repeatedly with the same file. Split and delete the portions you don't want and save the VW Project.
Reload the file and do the same thing with another portion, then Save As with a different name.
Your original is never altered but you can add the various VW Project files to Builder.
