I can create menus, submenus, chapters, edit movies.  But there are things I cannot do and I have no idea why... such as:

Add unlinked button
Add menu overlay
and I can't click view-> settings for any button or anything else

all of these options are greyed out and I have no idea why.

I am using a gateway 507Gr computer with an Intel Pentium 4  3 GHZ chip

Graphics Driver IntelVideo4308.

I have My DVD 8 Premier (Deluxe version)

What program do you actually have? In Easy Media Creator 8, there are 2 versions available: Suite and Deluxe Suite, there is no Premier version. The Premier versions apply to myDVD 8 (Essentials and Premier) and DVDCopy 2

If you have MyDVD Premier, it does NOT have all the features enabled.  As far as I know, MyDVD Premier has the same features as EMC8 Standard version with MyDVD.

ONLY Easy Media Creator 8 Deluxe Suite has ALL features enabled.
