I have a few problems with the dvd builder. I have made several picture dvd slideshows using this program with no problems until now. I started making a presentation with pictures that I scanned and framed using microsoft digital image 10. When I got to the storyboard feature and dragged my first few pics in and clicked them on to resize them, the program would freeze up. My next problem is when I open up previous shows, it would not let me burn these presentations due to titles missing in the production. uuuggggghhhh!! The only thing that I can think of that is different is that I installed an update to norton systemworks and this may be the problem. I uninstalled roxio and installed again disabling norton. PLEASE HELP!! I need to finish this production for a 50th wedding anniversary. Thanks.

Something has happened that caused DVD Builder to lose the 'link' to your original pictures.

I DVD Builder with your production open, go to Title\ Browse for missing files..... and locate those files(pictures) on your hard drive.

To resize those pictures, you might have better luck if you edited them/ resized them in PhotoSuite first (if you have EMC 7+. Make certain that you save the picture under a new name before you make changes so that you don't change the original picture.

Okay, I browsed for missing files only to find that when clicked on it would not do a thing! nothing!!! I checked the folders that I got the pictures from and they are there. Once again I reinstalled the program, content disc and all, only to have it fail me once more. I am ready to throw this program out and find something more reliable. I do quite a few dvd's for weddings, etc. and can't worry about this everytime I have a job to do.

I don't work for Roxio, so it doesn't matter to me which program you use.

If you're using Easy Media Creator 7+, you need to be making your productions in VideoWave and using DVD Builder to make the menus and burn the DVDs.

We're all just end users and if you need more help, I'd suggest Roxio Tech Support.

I think that Windows Digital Image puts extra code on the pictures that are not normally in jpegs. Someone found a way around the code, but I cannot remember how to do it since I don't use that program. I capture with EMC 7.
