Hi.
Had no problem with EMC 7.0/7.5. My burners were recognized.
I orded the upgrade from Elements 5, which was shipped from Germany.
The Box CD version is Build 801B16A ENG. The update 8.05 (Build 805B30B) and applies
to 8.0  which Build 800B85C does not  install on Build 801B16A.
Has anyone experienced this conflict, or knows anything about this conflict?
I need some info.
Thanks.

The update is only for the 800 build in the US.

Hi.
Seems to me that Roxio accepted Elements 5 as an official outlet for it's product
Distribution.
It's amazing that I got a lemon through this venue.
What is the update application?
What areas do this update improve on EMC8?
I hope Roxio is aware of the 800/801 build! Then there should be an update for the 801 build.
Thanks.

Good grief.  Take a little time to read forum posts before you start posting.  Even though this particular group of forums is relatively new, your question has been answered more than a dozen times.
